This is where all of the Maka wolves congregate. In the clearing of the cave a massive boulder is very noticeable; this is where Scarlet and Severus hold important meetings. Directly behind the large boulder is an opening, this is where the Alpha's sleep. Enter it at your own risk. Two other sub-dens are hidden in the cave, one for regular members, and the other is the nursery. Guards are stationed at random places, so I suggest, if you are not a Maka wolf … wait at the door.
A long narrow hilltop stretches for a few miles in the southern half of the Maka territory. The Niveous Ridge is a very popular place, for wolves find it to be a very relaxing. Most say it can assuage the soul. It is a known fact that Scarlet sits at the top of this hill because it allows her to survey her pack. Her eyes are all over her lands for she is obsessed with knowing everything and anything about her pack. This is mainly because Scarlet refuses to allow her pack to run amuck.
The Shady Oaks are the oldest landmark in the Maka Territory. A large shady area is provided by a large mass of towering Oaks. Mother wolves often take their young cubs to this area, for it is crawling with small creatures. Wolf cubs and adolescents alike love to practice their hunting techniques on these small vulnerable prey. But be warned, this area is very close to the Kylmä River. If young wolves fall in, it is unlikely for them to survive to harsh temperature. But remember, to get to the Kylmä River, you must cross into Shan Territory, and why would anyone be over there?
This is the northern half of the Maka territory. As all of the wolves know, this part was burned in the war against humans. Luckily, most of the area has recovered and various small plants can be seen. The horrid scent of death and human is starting to fade, and only a small trace of them is left. But be vigilant, dear wolves, for harm can become of you from these lands. With it so barren, anyone can spot you. Also an old badger set is off to the side. It is rumored that the banished Kiba, lives here. Do you believe the tale?
